Padmavati First Weekend Box Office Report: Padmaavat‘ is having a great run since it release day. Critics and audiences have approved of the performances of the film’s leading actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor and the captivating visuals of the epic story. The average rating of this periodic war drama recorded 3 out of 5. Padmaavat has managed to earn Rs 27 core on Saturday, taking its total collection to Rs 83 crore. The film has truly achieved something far more spectacular. The occupancy on Sunday almost recorded more than 80% occupancy in maximum multiplexes of urban areas.

Despite the protests, the film has managed to win hearts of the audience and come out victorious in terms of box office performance. The film almost crosses 30 Cr gross mark in 4 days in international markets.

Going by the ticket window report It looks like the hard work of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and the team of Padmaavat has paid off. Padmaavat has received decent reviews from its critics and given the outrage over the Karni Sena protests the hype around the film has heightened to a great extent. The film has taken the country by storm. Amid widespread protests around cinema halls by various fringe outfits in Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. Already creating a splash at the box office before its release, the film has everything going for it with rave reviews coming its way not to mention Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s tryst with blockbuster films.

Despite Padmaavat not releasing in some parts of the country, the film has opened to a phenomenal response at the box office. The viewers also support the film and completely disagree with the protest that is doing by Rajput community. On its opening day the film saw outstanding occupancy around 70-75% despite getting challenges or revolts from Karni Sena. Despite protests and vandalism across the country over the release of Padmaavat, fans have not stopped themselves from watching the movie in protesting states. Inspite of receiving a green signal from the Supreme Court, Padmaavat makers are having a hard time screening the film in many theatres.

Well there is no major release in coming weekend that will work absolutely fantastic for the film.
